TYLER'S TEAMMATES

Seeking to perpetuate the joy of the baseball-loving Tyler Trudell, the WooSox Foundation established “Tyler’s Teammates,” in collaboration with his family. The program aims to spread the thirteen-year-old's love for baseball to others in the Central Massachusetts community. The program provides opportunities and equipment to regional youth who may not otherwise have the funds to partake in organized Diamond Sports, such as baseball and softball.

In Tyler’s memory, his mother and her devoted friends have been crafting and selling bracelets, and these proceeds are helping to fund the program. In addition to being sold in Paxton at such locales as the Ten West Market at 10 West St. and online at ExercisingWell.com, the WooSox will offer these bracelets for sale at Polar Park. Because Tyler sported jersey #2 after his favorite player, the Boston Red Sox’ Xander Bogaerts, his family asks all who purchase a bracelet to post a picture with “#2TylersTeammates” on social media.
